Our Cabins
Our cats are members of our family, and we want to know that they're happy and safe when we're not there. Here at the Burrow, we have created the perfect holiday home for them, to enable the cats in our care to settle quickly and feel at home in no time.
Names, not numbers
When you stay with us, we have names not numbers for the cats in our care. Each Individual has a unique personality, shy, playful, gregarious, energetic, affectionate, aloof or just plain goofy.

Each cabin has your cat's name displayed proudly on the front. Using your cats name helps them to feel settled and somewhere safe. Research shows that cats can and do recognise their own names, and will frequently respond more often to those humans that use it.​

Peaceful, Picturesque
and Personalised
Whilst we recognise that all cats share certain traits and commonalities, we also know that no two are the same. This is why we tailor our cabins to your cat's likes, dislikes and desires. For example, your kitty doesn't like male cats, that's no problem! Where possible we can offer them cabin with no male neighbours. Your cat likes to climb? Perfect, one extra tall cat tree coming up. Your feline family member prefers peace and quiet? We've got them covered. Our cattery is set within the grounds of our rural home, where the only noises are those of the farm animals around us, the waterfall in the koi pond and the birds singing sweet serenades in the trees.

All our cabins come fitted with opalescent privacy screens, that mean the cats in our care do not have to see any other members of their species during their stay. Eye contact for cats its very unnerving! The social butterflies out there can climb to to top of their climbing frames and play peekaboo with their neighbours if they fancy making friends.

Gone are cold cages and clinical plastics, and hello to warm, inviting, décor that is straight from the cottage core catalogues and country life centrespreads.

Comfortable, Charming
and Cat-Centric
Our Cabins have been designed with a cat's inherent needs and welfare in mind. Individually thermostatically heated, which can be set to your cats preference, we provide a welcoming environment to help your cat feel secure and in control. All soft furnishings (yes, even the cat trees!) are removable and are washed after each guest to ensure guests don't smell any other cats in their personal space. Most important for happy cats! We use veterinary level enzymatic cleaner to dissolve smell molecules and kill bacteria and viruses.

Omlet Memory foam beds, that our cats adore, sit in individually classically decorated rooms, with bespoke lighting, that changes to correspond to the time of day. Faux sheepskins and sumptuous velvets add to the hygge feeling prominent throughout the cattery, whilst jute and canvas compliment the countryside vibe.​
